Preconstruction

Perhaps the biggest hurdle for fire protection contractors is the lack of preconstruction consideration for the trade. By incorporating sprinkler design early in the project lifecycle, many issues that typically arise in the construction phase can be reduced or eliminated. We can bring a contractor’s perspective early, provide insight into value engineering opportunities, and provide different design options to suit the owner’s needs.

Design

With proven industry experience, we bring multiple perspectives to each project we approach. Working in the Midwest has exposed us to numerous project types, sizes, and styles. This exposure allows us to apply field tested experience, from a multitude of projects, to each system we design.

Coordination

In order to transition from a solid design to a smooth install, coordination with other trades is crucial. Our experience working for design build contractors provides a unique, customer driven, approach to coordination. We coordinate all our projects with your best interest in mind, while maintaining all required codes and standards.

Site Survey

Knowing when to conduct a site survey and what to look for are critical in a successful project. Our tenure with design build contractors affords us a full understanding of project outcomes. We have seen the results of poor coordination and surveys, we understand the impacts on labor, productivity, and profit. We strive to provide a final set of working drawings that keep your foreman on their lifts.

Stocklisting

With each sprinkler system consisting of thousands of parts, experience is key. We strive to provide a complete and accurate stocklist, which matches the install plans, is clearly labeled and ready for install. From the big; heads, hangers, and pipe, to the miniscule; wall plates, caulk, and thread tape we aim to outline everything needed to install the system as designed.
